Let me start by saying Happy New Year and may you and your family have a blessed and prosperous New Year!
What an amazing year it has been with you at CyberArms. We learned a lot and met a lot of new friends. I want to thank each and everyone of you for helping make this year our best year yet!
With your help and support we are now in the top 1% of websites in the world!
Let’s take a look at some of the highlights.
These are the posts that got the most views in 2012:
- Backtrack 5 r3 List of (some of the) new Tools and Programs
- Backtrack 5: Penetration Testing with Social Engineering Toolkit
- North Korea’s Cyber War Forces
- Cracking 14 Character Complex Passwords in 5 Seconds
- NTLM Passwords: Can’t Crack it? Just Pass it!
We had a total of just under 600,000 viewers as of last month! We had almost 7,000 viewers on one day alone. We had a total of over 1500 comments, and unfortunately over 110,000 SPAM comments…
Dear “Lista De Email”, no matter how many times you spam us per day, we are still not going to post it! I have almost 200 posts from them in our SPAM folder right now. And this is just from the Holidays…
We had a big bump in traffic in November that moved us into one of the top 500,000 websites in the world according to Alexa.com. Not to shabby as according to Netcraft there are over 630 million websites on the net!
I was able to work with Packt Publishing again this year, helping out with providing technical editing and review for their Backtrack 5 Wireless Security training course & their recently released book “Backtrack 5 Cookbook”. And I just starting on reviewing another upcoming Backtrack 5 penetration testing video training course.
I also worked a lot this year with Hakin9 Security Magazine, Exploit Magazine, Pentest Mag, eForensics and Software Development Journal performing technical reviewing and editing for almost 100 magazine articles.
(Please let me know if anyone else needs technical reviewing services – email@example.com)
Special thanks to Ikfale for your unending support and reposting of our articles for our friends in Nepal and India. And thanks to Bitdefender and GFI for your support and generous offers of review software.
Thanks again to all of our friends, God bless you all and have a great year!
