Multi-State Information Sharing & Analysis Center CyberSecurity Digital Dashboard

I was doing some poking around a couple of State Cyber Security informational portals. Wow, it looks like several states are really starting to pick up the ball and run with informing people about online risks and how to protect yourself.

I stumbled upon this and was kind of impressed. This is the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC) Cyber Security Digital Dashboard.

MS-ISAC is (from Website):

The Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC) is a collaborative state and local government-focused cyber security entity that is significantly enhancing cyber threat prevention, protection, and response and recovery throughout the states of our nation.

The Digital Dashboard is an interesting JavaScript that displays a real-time snapshot of what is going on in the Cyber Security world.

Information included on the desktop includes:

  • Top 10 Ports Under Attack
  • DHS/ISAC Threat Levels
  • Top 10 Attacking IPs
  • Latest Viruses, News and Advisories
  • Top Attacking IP Locations

If you like the Desktop, you can even add it to your site. Instructions are available here.

Check it out, it is pretty impressive.
