Ubuntu Linux 3D Desktop

Just a small break from security. I was thinking after my last post on Backtrack 4 that many hardcore Windows users may not have seen the cool 3D Linux desktops.  The first time I saw what Linux could do with their desktops, I was stunned. If you haven’t seen Ubuntu with Compiz, you are in for a treat.

I have seen that there are a few Windows 3D Desktop programs out now, but I also saw some notes that said they don’t work well with Windows 7. Also, Ubuntu is 100% free, where Windows is not.

If you have some time, check it out. You can get a VMWare Ubuntu Appliance from VMWare.com, and use it in the free VMWare player. Or download the full version from Ubuntu.com for installation.
