Beijing is still trying to work things out with Google according to a report from Wired Magazine . Li Yizhong, the minister of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said that the Chinese government is working with the internet search giant Google to come to some sort of agreement.
Google angered China when it said that it would no longer censor search results. Things came to a head in January when Google said that it would pull out of China after it lost source code in a sophisticated hacking attack. The source of the attack appeared to be from China.
After the 50 day dispute, Google is still censoring search results from Google.cn. As of yet, there is no set date for Google to cease censoring in China. Read the full article at Wired Magazine.
