The Electronic Cyber-war in Iran

I mentioned earlier about Iranian protesters getting help from social networking sites in this cyber-war. Some of the tactics used to bypass filters and even take down government sites have been very unconventional.

One sample from last year was a program created by a British web programmer that was made to track sports scores and Ebay auctions. Protesters used it to take down Iranian government sites. He was shocked to find out that it was used this way, read more at CNN.
